LET ME CARRY YOU

Mat. 11:28 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

************

Oh, won't you let Me carry you,
When you are not so strong;
When you need a helping hand,
And, your days to short…your nights too long?

Why try to carry that heavy load,
It is more than you can bear;
For I'm your Friend,
And, every burden…I will share.

When you're on the bottom,
Only one way you can go;
Know that I am with you,
My Love…I want to show.

But, you must let me carry you,
In times when you are weak;
Let me comfort you,
Be that Best Friend…that you seek.

In the good times…we'll walk hand-in-hand,
But, in the hard times…let Me, your burden share;
For good friends are always there,
Through the hard times…leave you ne'er.

Oh, won't you let Me carry you,
Together, we shall go;
Onward…always upward,
I'll lift you up…never bring you low.

All the best…I've planned for you,
Still, there is a need;
On your own…strong-willed and all,
To My voice…you'll not heed.

On your own…you'll never make it,
Though try as best you can;
The strongest one amongst us,
This was his unsuccessful plan.

Yes, some have tried,
And, they've done very well;
At least, on the outside,
This is what they would tell.

But, what of the times…when all alone,
Their tears…nobody sees;
Their doubts and uncertainties,
From themselves…they try to flee.

Again, I say…Oh, won't you let Me,
Let Me carry you;
Let Me come to your rescue,
Oh, let Me carry you!
