Love isn't a NOUN,
A person, place, or thing;
Love is a VERB,
With it…ACTION…we bring.

Love isn't "something",
Abstract and without design;
Love is what we "do",
That's how it is defined.

To say we "Love" is futile,
If hid someplace in the dark;
"Love"…the greatest of all treasures,
Not just a word…a remark.

Love results in ACTION,
For others…not ourselves;
Unselfishly giving…always giving,
Our lives poured-out…not sitting by itself.

We have a lot to learn,
About…what is called Love;
It's preferring others…always,
Not something lowly…but…above.

See what you can do…today,
To really make a difference;
Help those who cannot help themselves,
Don't just sit there…in silence.

Brighten the eyes of a small child,
Give a hand to the weak and feeble;
Lift-up someone who is down,
We're all needy people.

All have weak areas,
On others need to lean;
Let's give ourselves for others,
Then, Love is really seen!
