MY VERY FIRST DAY!

John 14:2 "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know."

1 Cor. 2:9 "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

************

'Tis my very first day in Heaven,
And, such a sight I did see;
The angels…they were singing,
And, Lord Jesus came to greet me.

His hand was outstretched,
He drew me close to Him;
Gone…was all the pain and suffering,
As Heaven…I did enter in.

Love permeated everywhere,
The Lamb…the Light thereof;
And, every tear was wiped away,
All that remained was His Love.

The streets were paved with purest gold,
The very nature of our God;
No mixtures here…impurities,
In His Kingdom…truly He was LORD.

Off in the distance…I could see,
Those nearest…dearest to me;
They too, came to welcome and embrace,
With outstretched hands…encompassed we.

Eternal life….Eternal bliss,
Never again the lowly nature;
Nothing to drag me down or hold me back,
True life…in the Spirit.

'Tis no night time there,
Only brightest of day time;
Everything is of a clearest nature…now,
And, there is no end in sight.

Meadows…they rolled on and on,
Up each hill and down each dale;
With mountains as a back-drop,
And, winding…shaded trails.

Nothing of mankind was to be found,
No structures by him built;
Nature…in its purest form,
Only what Father did build.

All of nature was in harmony,
The lion and the lamb laid down;
Things of the past had vanished,
Peace and tranquility did abound.

And, to think that all of this,
Shall forever be,
Does boggle the mind of mere man,
Such as you and me.

But, its truly all of Father's making,
Not touched by the hand of mankind;
No sin to tarnish…no seeds of hate,
We've left them all behind.

A never-ending song goes out,
Across this vast domain;
Our Father has led us back,
To our Heavenly Home…again.

So, bubbling up…from deep within,
Our hearts are overflowing;
We will not…cannot hold it back,
HALLELUJAH…our praises…growing!
