JESUS is our Rock,
So very solid…He;
Rooted and grounded in Him,
Truly, the way to be.

When we build our house,
Let's not build it on sand;
Let the foundation be our Rock,
Not the shifting sand…of man.

With the storms of life,
Our house will start to slide;
Won't be long at all…before,
Down that banking, we shall ride.

Our house will be swept away,
No foundation to hold it fast;
Oh, why did we build on sand,
It was easier…but didn't last.

Build your house on a firm foundation,
Our Rock…Christ Jesus…He;
When the storms come…in our lives,
On solid ground, we shall be.

Our Rock holds in every situation,
This is nice to know;
With our house firmly grounded,
Let storms come and strong winds blow!
