Tiny babies…Oh, so small,
Why could you no longer stay;
Such a short time here with us,
Why do you have to go away?

Wee precious bundles…precious, precious bundles,
You grew so close…beneath my heart;
So many months together,
Why…Oh, why do we have to part?

Thoughts come flooding in,
All the "firsts" that will not be;
The joy and happiness cut short,
Cut short…but, you go free.

Let me hold you just awhile…rock you in my arms,
Tell of all my dreams for you;
Hope beyond all hope…still, not to be,
Not to be…somehow we just knew.

Take them, Lord Jesus…hold them in Your arms,
You love them…even more than we;
Entrusted to Your care…we need never despair,
Someday, together we'll all be.

Wee, tiny babies…sweet-smelling babies,
Cuddly and soft and pink;
I'll hold you in my heart, forevermore,
On these memories…forever think.

Now, you're gone from sight,
But, forever in our hearts;
Someday re-united we shall be,
Until then, all our love we do impart.

Once again to be together,
Never…never more depart;
Tiny babies…precious babies,
Forever in our hearts!
