Do we trust our God…really trust,
That He will work things out;
From the worst of situations,
He knows what He's about.

God truly has everything under control,
No matter what it may be;
Trust Him…take our hands off,
Then…His mighty works, we would see.

Have you a problem…a big problem,
One, you just can't resolve;
Try as you may…it won't go away,
Only God's love can dissolve?

What is so hard…about just letting it go,
Once you've given it to Him?
Is there still a part of us,
Wanting, by ourselves, this victory to win?

Silly pride…stupid pride,
Always wanting to control;
Haven't we learned …yet,
We're not the boss…this is God's role?

Maybe it's a small problem,
I can handle this…myself;
I don't need God's help,
It's so small…it can handle itself.

After all…God's handling the universe,
He doesn't have time for this;
So, I'll just close my eyes,
Pretend my life is all…bliss.

Hypocrate…pretender,
Facing the truth…never;
Don't we know…haven't we seen,
That truth is found in Scripture?

Truth is the very Person,
The Person of Jesus Christ;
The "Way", the "Truth", the "Life", (Jn.14:6)
A solid Rock…our Christ.

Let's be honest with ourselves,
No longer the hypocrate be;
Let's put our trust where it belongs,
Watch God…win the victory!
