Who offers us A NEW BEGINNING?
Who will make all things new?
There’s only One who can do that,
And, I’d be happy to share with you!

His name is Christ Jesus,
Anointed Saviour…He;
The Alpha and Omega,
Come…to set creation free.

Are you bound…and need freeing,
With bars and chains that bind?
Or are your fetters on the inside,
Locked in the recesses of your mind?

Does an unclean spirit…follow you around,
Smudging-up…all that’s clean and pure?
Or perhaps one of gluttony,
Eating all the time…because you’re insecure?

Greed can become deadly,
When our lives…it overtakes;
Bigger…better…more,
Fools out of us…it makes.

“Oh, No…that’s not my problem,
For I have none…you see;
I’m an upstanding Christian,
And, all of you should be just like me!”

Self-righteous to the core,
But, what does the Bible say of that?
“Filthy rags” are what it’s called,
The Bible lays it right out there…flat!

Sounds like someone is in need,
They need A NEW BEGINNING;
No matter how hard we try,
The game of life…we’re not winning.

Have we…somehow forgotten,
That One has gone before;
In all of life…He was victorious,
And, is now our Intercessor.

At the foot of the Cross,
Down there…upon our knees;
We humbly ask His pardon,
This prisoner asks to be set free.

Christ Jesus paid the price,
“PAID IN FULL”…the bill was stamped;
Now, we can stand upright,
Sin has lost its power…lost its tight clamp.

We have A NEW BEGINNING,
Old things are passed away;
He makes all things new,
We can walk upright…into that bright, new day!
