Why would we sit in darkness,
Why would we cursed be;
His light shines out...it reaches,
And draws you close, and me.

His blessing is upon us,
His love He's shed abroad;
Why would we sit in darkness,
And there deny our Lord?

He's made every provision,
Provided Himself a Lamb;
We can rest, for "It is finished",
He is the great "I AM".

His blessing is upon us,
No longer cursed are we;
Take hold of His provision,
The Good News, now decree!
