Oftimes it has been said,
That “LOVE” is a verb;
A word of action…truly it is,
This fact can’t be disturbed.

And, have you stopped to ponder,
A noun “LOVE” can be?
A person, place, or thing,
God…a place of shelter…even Heavenly.

How about an adjective,
“LOVE” can be described;
As a person, place or thing,
From which great beauty…is derived.

And, as a pronoun “LOVE”,
An off-shoot…second nature;
A carbon-copy…perhaps,
Sometimes…so much like our Creator.

When others see us,
Do they oftimes see our Father?
For our goal is to be just like Him,
To be just like our Maker.

Perhaps not grammatically correct,
But still…something to ponder;
A verb, noun, adjective or pronoun,
The character of our Heavenly Father.

So, let’s begin today,
Don’t let “LOVE” go by…unnoticed;
For when “LOVE” is truly “LOVE”,
It will be recognized by acts of kindness!
