Just a deep…inner KNOWING,
That our sins are all forgiven;
Because of JESUS' shed blood,
The price for our atonement.

At-one-ment…with our God,
With nothing inbetween;
That blessed…calm assurance,
By JESUS' shed blood…made clean.

Just a deep…inner KNOWING,
The world can't take away;
Our LORD, now dwells within,
And, He is here…to stay.

Oh, calm…calm assurance,
He walks with us each day;
Never to leave…to forsake,
Daily walks with us…along the way.

Just a deep…inner KNOWING,
That we are Heaven-bound;
With the Bible as our road map,
That "narrow way" is found.

By His Holy Spirit…leads us,
Comfort to us…brings;
Leading…guiding…teaching us,
Showing us all things.

Just a deep…inner KNOWING,
We are bound for Beulah Land;
The City that is four-square,
Our Heavenly, New Jerusalem.

We'll see the trees with leaves for,
The healing of the nations;
And, the stream that's flowing,
From the Throne…like a ribbon.

Just a deep…inner KNOWING,
As we approach that Throne;
That He who sits upon it,
Welcomes us…to our Home.

Like the Prodigal…returning,
He welcomes us with arms outstretched;
Bids us come and join Him,
Enter into Eternal Rest.

Just a deep…inner KNOWING,
Not a feeling…but to "KNOW";
Heaven is our real Home,
Not what we've known below.

Pilgrims in a foreign land,
Wandering…all these years;
Looking for that Celestial City,
Where our Father will wipe away all our tears.

Oh, Glory…Hallelujah!
There'll be some shouting there;
With Love…to overflowing,
In that City that's four-square!
