Acts 2:1 "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Endued with power…from on High,
God's made every provision;
His promises to "whosoever will",
To each and every Christian.

We thank You…JESUS,
The Holy Spirit…You sent;
Poured-out…on us…lavishly,
All we need do…is repent.

All this made possible,
Because of Christ Jesus;
Our praises to Him we bring,
All of creation…can hear it.

Like a rushing, mighty wind,
Your Spirit comes to us;
Fanning that ember…almost gone out,
Reviving…restoring our trust.

Powerful Holy Spirit…
Self-same Spirit of our God;
How blessed are we…to receive,
This Power from our LORD.

Power…as we walk each day,
Be in the world…not of it;
Power…to overcome all things,
With God…there is no limit.

If we lack Power in our lives,
To us…too great a task;
He's waiting to hear from us,
All we need do…is ask.
