Romans 8:15 "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."

I have a Heavenly Father,
He watches over me;
In times of trial and sorrow,
He, there will always be.

He walks with me through valleys,
And on the mountain peaks;
He promised not to leave me,
His promises He keeps.

I've had my times of trouble,
And blessings, quite a few;
His grace is all-sufficient,
His promises are true.

He leads me by His Spirit,
He holds me in His hand;
And any time I falter,
He says `tis not His plan.

I'm thankful that He found me,
When I was lost in sin;
I'm thankful Jesus paid the price,
`Twas a battle I could not win.

And now I am forgiven,
This soul has been set free;
Jesus took up the challenge,
He did it all for me (and you!).

Adopted into the Family,
Joint-heir with Christ am I;
"Abba Father" is a reality,
The Spirit of adoption, whereby I cry.

I started on this journey,
With Him...I'm not alone;
My hand in His, with Him I walk,
Now Heaven is my Home.
