JOY COMES IN THE MORNING

Psa. 30:4 "Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

************

Joy is coming…in the morning,
We have this promise…true;
'Tho all is dark around us…now,
We know our hope is in You.

The very darkest night time,
Gives way to sunshine's rays;
The gloomiest of nights,
Makes way for the brightest of all days.

It's a promise of our God,
For…in darkness He'll not live;
He dispells all darkness…pushes it away,
Calls us to that Glorious Light…He gives.

And, His Light reveals,
All that is not of Him;
We are without excuse,
Don't let darkness make you a victim.

Men hide in darkness,
When their deeds are evil;
But, we are not in darkness,
God's Light has caused an upheaval.

Push back the darkness,
And, all who dwell within;
Allow God's Light to shine forth,
To uncover all forms of sin.

Our lives will never be the same,
Joy…in our hearts…spring forth;
Weeping cannot endure,
It's the Joy of our Lord…henceforth!
