Perhaps you’re very timid,
Not too many chances…do you take;
Rock solid…no surprises,
A lot of waves…you never make.

For years and years…perhaps a lifetime,
Writing everything in ‘stone’;
So very set in your ways,
Like a slab of marble you have grown.

Do everything a certain way,
Try nothing new…not ever;
A sense of security…for sure,
Dull and boring…adventurous…never!

Do you dare to take a step of faith,
LAUNCH OUT for something new;
Travel the road less traveled on,
Allow Father God to widen your view?

Led by His Holy Spirit,
Adventure…around each bend;
Sameness…dullness…boredom,
To this…He will put an end!

We’ll awaken every morning,
Asking Him what is His will;
And, by His Spirit…He will lead us,
If we listen…and be still.

Sometimes we meet somebody,
We haven’t seen for years and years;
Other times…a new friend,
We can encourage…dispelling their fears.

LAUCH OUT…don’t be timid,
He wants to make all things new;
Transforming lives…His greatest miracle,
Oftimes…He uses me and you!

LAUNCH OUT…let our Lord complete,
All that He has begun;
Work with Him…not against Him,
His way is best…and not to shun!

LAUNCH OUT…into the great adventure,
Where He makes all things new;
LAUNCH OUT…with great expectation,
And, we shall see all that He will do!
