Is your life built on half-truths?
That’s not a solid foundation;
In time…it shall crumble,
It’s the way to destruction.

We want to please others,
At the cost of the TRUTH;
We need to take a look at our lives,
Buy the TRUTH…sell it not…even from our youth.

As with everything,
There’s a price to be paid;
People may not like the real…us,
Sometimes wish the phony…we had stayed.

But that’s beyond ourselves,
And, right here is where it must begin;
There are those we know and love,
And, those who wear our patience thin.

But, let’s focus on ourselves,
For there’s enough to do…right here;
The TRUTH shall set us free,
And, the TRUTH is nothing to fear.

Embrace the TRUTH,
Buy the TRUTH and sell it not;
Let the Holy Spirit do His work,
His dealings are Eternal and cannot be bought.

There isn’t anything that He cannot do,
Nothing that He will not use;
Stay open and receptive to His gentle nudge,
We have everything to gain…nothing to lose.

Unlimited are His resources,
Perfect is His plan;
His ways are all-inclusive,
His desire…the very best for woman and man.

Sometimes a show that we watch,
Or something that we read;
A tiny child’s squeal of delight,
Perhaps us…in our greatest need.

The “LIGHT” goes on…we’re forever changed,
The TRUTH our great magnifier;
We see ourselves as we really are,
Content with the status-quo…never!

Is this a one-shot deal,
Oh, if it only were so;
But, it’s a life-long journey,
As closer to Father God…we grow.

Painful? Yes…sometimes,
We can choose to remain the same;
The earthly or the Heavenly,
For me…Heavenly is my aim.

A lasting work…the Holy Spirit does,
We’re being changed from glory…to glory;
Line upon line…as He reveals more,
Until we’re like Him…fully.

Our life…really His life coming forth,
Not merely a carbon-copy;
From the inside…out,
Transforming us, from glory…to glory!

There’s an air of great expectation,
Knowing what He’s begun…He shall complete;
An exciting adventure…we are upon,
And, our LORD has never known defeat.

Let Him change you from glory…to glory,
The foundation is solid…the TRUTH;
His “LIGHT” will dispel the darkness,
LET’S BE REAL!
