There's a name above all others,
Most revered of all;
Because faithful was He,
To all of God's call.

Tempted was He..yet, without sin,
Determined to do His Father's will;
A life pure and holy,
And, all the law…fulfill.

Even from an early age…lost,
But found in the Temple;
He was about His Father's business, (Lk.2:49)
Lifting His Father up…Himself, He was humble.

He proclaimed God's Word,
Spoke with authority…astounding all;
For, He spoke not like the teachers of the law, (Mt.7:28,29NIV)
His Words tore down walls.

Walls that had divided,
One man from another;
Walls to keep in and walls to keep out,
Setting free...Sister and Brother.

Free from their sin,
And, free to hear their God;
To be led by His Spirit…daily,
Free to walk with their LORD.

Best news of all…He did it for us,
All things are gained…nothing is lost;
For the joy set before Him,
He gladly endured the Cross. (Heb.12:2NIV)

He tore down that wall of partition,
That separated Jew from Greek;
Making of the two…one new man,
Of a new creature, He did speak. (Gal.6:15)

All one…IN Christ,
The Messiah…Anointed One;
Holy One of Israel,
God's own Son…JESUS.

Now, because of Him,
And, His perfect sacrifice;
We too, can be called sons of God,
Because of JESUS…He paid the price.

Nothing of ourselves,
Can we offer…bring;
Our only hope is found,
In the Lamb of God…King of kings.

So, we thank You, JESUS,
And we lift Your name on high;
The name above all names,
Alive forevermore…Your name, we glorify.
