John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have PEACE. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Romans 5:5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

In all of life’s situations,
Both the good and the bad;
We can have PEACE WITHIN,
When we’re happy or when we’re sad.

The world would like to tell us,
That everything is amiss;
Wars and rumors of war,
Death and destruction…its emphasis.

How can we be peaceful,
When the world knows no peace?
Oh, we could someday, perhaps,
When the doom and gloom…cease.

But, need we be governed,
By what happens…out there;
In every situation,
To be overcome by despair?

Perhaps the world is really wrong,
In its way of thinking;
Maybe it’s just the opposite,
And, from the truth they’re shrinking.

What if…instead…our focus were,
On having PEACE WITHIN;
Why not start…today,
And, change our way of thinking?

There is a peace that’s offered,
To all who will believe;
The world cannot understand it,
Its truth…they can’t perceive.

Let’s take Father at His Word,
Believe all that He has said;
Allow His peace into our hearts,
Choose PEACE WITHIN…instead.

No matter what is going on,
In our life…or in the world;
It’s no longer our focal-point,
A better way has been unfurled.

With Father’s PEACE WITHIN,
Our perspective has changed;
There is calm assurance,
Our understanding…He has re-arranged.

No matter what the world,
Or our life has in store;
We are now…fully equipped,
To handle it…and more!

This peace …a certainty,
Its out-working did begin;
And, it all started,
Because, we have His PEACE WITHIN!
