Did you start on the bottom,
Perhaps, born with a handicap;
Seems like everything's against you,
Life gave you a bum-rap?

Or did the love of your life,
Turn from you…walk away;
Esteem so low…on the bottom,
You cannot even pray?

Maybe you had a prestigeous job,
With lots and lots of plans;
All those plans went awry,
Pushed out…by a better man?

Has life in general…got you down,
Defeated in all ways;
No matter what you do,
There's only cloudy days?

In every situation…be it,
Locust, cankerworm, palmerworm…caterpillar;
There's a promise in God's Word,
To RESTORE…make all things better.

Sometimes it seems like,
In our lifetime...we'll not see it;
So put-down…so beat-up,
My goodness…there's a limit!

But, RESTORE…He has promised,
And, RESTORE…He shall do;
By faith, we shall see it,
His promises…all true.

Why not take Him at His Word,
What else can we do?
We really have no options,
No other point of view.

So, don't lose heart,
Throw up your hands and quit;
Remember, there's a promise;
Solution…benefit.

Hold fast to His promises,
We'll come out…on the other side;
We'll be RESTORED…and our God,
He will be glorified!

Just around each corner,
Every bend…in the road;
God has something beautiful,
He will help us carry that load.

And, through that RESTORATION,
Our faith grows…by leaps and bounds;
Not just for ourselves…but others,
His RESTORING…redounds.

He makes everything beautiful,
In His own time;
Look forward to RESTORATION,
With Him…out of that pit…climb.

Our loving Heavenly Father,
Wants only good…for us;
He's in the RESTORATION business,
In Him…we can trust!
