SONG OF LOVE

1 John 4:7 “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.”

There’s a song of God’s LOVE,
It goes out…across the land;
Sometimes we’re just too busy,
We must be still…and listen for a second.

Can you hear it…this song of LOVE,
Sometimes, so very softly…it is sung?
Or is it blotted out by the hustle and bustle,
And, harsh words of the tongue?

Coming…gently on the breeze,
It’s not hyped-up…and no brass band;
Neither is it soft and mushy,
As it goes out…across the land.

Sovereign words and works of God,
And…sometimes He uses people;
He’s not limited in any way,
Sometimes profound…sometimes simple.

Just a deep and inner knowing,
That someone…somebody cares;
Someone goes that extra mile,
Making your life easier to bear.

His song of LOVE…goes out,
Do you have an ear to hear?
Do you take the time to listen,
Do you take the time to hear?

Take the time…today,
Be mindful…look for His LOVE;
Stop looking downward…at the bad,
His LOVE comes from above!
