The Bible speaks of treasure,
So very many kinds;
All allegories of the One,
For Whom are hearts do pine.
The Ultimate of treasures,
That thieves cannot break in and steal;
The One that does not rust,
His radiance is real.
Polishing won't do it,
Nor rust take the shine away;
This Treasure's reserved in Heaven,
All ours...on that great day.
So, choose wisely…your treasure,
And where you shall store it;
Gold, gems, and pearls are pretty,
But, can't compare with God's many facets.
His many facets…His character,
All present in our Saviour;
When we see Him…we've seen the Father, (Jn.14:9)
This Truth…we should savour.
The many facets of our God,
Beautiful to behold;
The Treasure…found in JESUS,
Treasure that can never grow old.
So, sell all you have to purchase,
A closer walk with Him;
A pure walk…and holy,
Free of care and free from sin.
