This man called Will…Will Power,
Has no power…he;
A slave to sin…no power there,
Although try his best…best as can be.

The carnal man, at best…produces,
Only things temporal;
The carnal man is emnity,
With things that are Eternal.

Will Power…Will Power,
We know him very well;
With all the best of intentions,
His destination is still hell (absence of God).

He walks in darkness,
Darker than the night;
His best…never enough,
From this man…this carnal man…take flight.

We have a higher calling,
God wants more for us;
Kept by the Spirit of our God,
His provision...in JESUS.

Leaning not upon ourselves,
And our abilities;
We look to God for sustenance,
His Word…our spirit frees.

For, we are kept by God's Spirit,
If led by Him…each day;
Shall it be Will…Will Power,
Or, acknowledge God…in all our ways?
