SLUMBERS REALITY

SLUMBER'S REALITY

I dreamed you layed
white roses with black ribbon on the water for me
I watched it float, and the petals broke free
I saw the water turn red
as the waters waves dyed the river bed
I heard a music box playing as it sat on the ground
It was next to the willow tree
which shaded its haunting sound
I looked up seein a child's face
her tears fell on me like rain
the saltiness I tasted was bittersweet of her pain
this world I was dreaming of
has me trapped in it's hands
It holds me close and the visions
I watch I don't understand.
