Almost everyone likes her favorite food... ICE CREAM!!! Spicy food is not written in her good food list.

Hikaru is well skilled in Kendo, a Japanese fencing art. She lives in a house (duh!) and has a training hall for art of martial arts.

Her brothers Satoru, Masaru, and Kakeru are very nice and very concerned about her. They too are well skilled.

For pet lovers: Hikaru is one of them. She has a dog whose name is Hikari and somehow she can understand animals. And to top all that she wants to be a "Seeing Eye Dog trainer."

Hikaru is very nice and both Umi and Fuu love her and call her "their little sister."

Hikaru loves the color red. Isn’t it kind of obvious?

She was the first to have received her magical element by Guru Clef's help. Fire is her power source.

After that Guru Clef confronted Alcione and is within her witchcraft.

On the second series, Hikaru fell in love with Lantis, Zagato's brother. And it seemed that he fell in love with her too.

She is very intelligent and wise and to top that, she's very cute.

Her favorite food is Tessa, a thinly sliced raw blowfish (whatever that is). Anything that tastes bad she does not dare to digest.

She is totally very outstandingly good in Math and does not comprehend with art.

She's very good in archery that's why she's on the archery team in school. And also why she first had a bow and arrow for a "borrowed weapon" (as Presea said).

She loves reading. And she hopes to become a computer engineer.

Umi and Fuu get along very well.

Her favorite color is green.

Her sister, Kuu, is too very concern about her when came back to Earth feeling glum. She had a really weird way of cheering up Fuu, first by saying words of wisdom. Then when Fuu mentioned that she was going to Tokyo Tower, Kuu suddenly gushed and asked for a souvenir.

When Umi had been injured, Guru Clef (on a stone as a hologram) showed Fuu's magical abilities, to heal.

She uses the element of the wind.

Fuu and Ferio have something going on. And to add it all up, they have cute scenes together.

Umi is absolutely my favorite character.

And I have good reasons. Her birthday is the same as mine (March 3).

She loves spaghetti (I love them too) and hates sweets (but I don't).

Umi is very good in English but does not understand the concepts of the needle and the thread.

Umi is very good in fencing and is in the school fencing team.

She loves baking cakes and like most of the girls she wants to be a wife... a housewife.

She's rich and sometimes mean to Mokona and at first to Guru Clef.

Blue is her favorite color, like most of us.

Umi is the only child in her family and seems to look like a brat but she is very soft in the inside

Umi fell in love Guru Clef later on the second series. But Ascot had a crush on her... I think. And Guru Clef was said to have feelings for her too. But still... I can't imagine a really old guy over 700 years of age and half the size of Umi would catch her eyes. Maybe it's true that love is all that matters (and it is *^-^*).

In the OAV/OVA Clef is a whole lot taller and he and Umi had a lot of screen shots which are really cute! They match there and I believe that they truly are a perfect match. What about Ascot?
