The Villains of MKRE

*^-^* Yeah! They're bad and not so good but hey! Some of them ended up being nice in the end*^-^* I remember this article in Questor (Questor is an anime mag in the philippines) that the good thing about bad guys in anime are they aren't so bad once you've known why they did such bad things. I guess in our lives we've become at least twice a bad person to someone. Maybe we didn't mean it, maybe we did, but the fact is, we do become villains while being angels to some people. *^-^*

In the first part of the series Zagato is known to be the man who took and kidnapped the enchanting Princess Emeraude.
He too was the one who made Lafarga an enemy. He is responsible for the treason of Alcione.
He is known to be the mastermind of the whole thing.
Though the Knights did not know... he had a romantic reason for all of what he has done. Emeraude has fallen in love with Zagato. He too fell in love with her. As a result she could not concentrate with her royal duties to pray for Cephiro’s safety. She has chose to fulfill the prophecy that she would summon the legendary knights to slain her… (no one in Cephiro could slay their queen that’s why it had to be beings from another world)
Zagato on the other hand does not will for his love one to die, and so he captured her in the name of love.
Hikaru, Fuu, and Umi did not know of his reasons and found out after they have slain him. He was protecting Emeraude and Emeraude herself became a woman full of rage, losing her innocent body she fought and explained to the knights her reasons and was slain.
Zagato has a cool robot! *^-^* And he and Emerauda had a wonderful ending, it was very romantic *^-^*

Alcione was the first enemy Hikaru, Fuu, and Umi encountered. She was Guru Clef’s student in magic.
She was the royal apprentice wizard of Cephiro. Alcione had no idea that Zagato was in love with Emeraude and that he captured the princess for he did not want her to die. Alcione became an enemy for she loved Zagato.
When Alcione met the Knights she encountered Guru Clef and the two powerful magicians fought.
Alcione won unfairly and turned Guru Clef to stone. But at the time were the knights were fighting Emeraude, Alcione’s spell regarding Guru Clef was broken. And then, she soon found out the truth about Zagato and Emeraude.
On the second part of the series, Alcione was saved by Debonair. Unfortunately she was still evil and blamed the knights for Zagato’s death. She still loved Zagato. Lantis came to her sight and she became weak. She was wounded and soon she thought that Lantis was Zagato and she cried on his arms saying her full pain.
Alcione was the one who told the knights where Debonair was. Debonair’s position was behind the castle of Cephiro. Saying this, Alcione died. She made a bargain with Debonair regarding her silence and her revenge to the knights.
Um… I don’t know if this is true… but I think that Presea and Alcione were once good friends. I think so because Alcione knew that Presea had a twin sister. And she found out that Presea’s sister was an imitation of Presea when she visited Alcione.

Ascot is a monster’s best friend. But he does not look at his friends as monsters at all… but friends*^-^*.
Umi put him into sense regarding what’s right and wrong. And he had an attraction to her. It seemed like Caldina took care of him too.
On the second part of the series, Ascot was taller than Umi and admitted that he loves her. Umi did not understand that he meant the love but a friendly love. So she sort of said, "I love you too Ascot… and I love Caldina, Presea, and everyone too!" (At least like that. MKRE in the Philippines sort of said it like that… in Tagalog that is…) I don’t know if it’s true… but my friend said that Ascot had a crush on Fuu too.

Caldina definitely loves money and she’s the one who took care of Ascot…(I think). She found out how friendship and love was because of the knights with the help of Ascot. Caldina is a great "controller", which means, with the chime of her bells she can make her victims move even though they do not will it. She is very frank and wears tiny suits. Her weapons are bells that are part of her armor (or bikini), and a fan.
Caldina on the second part had a crush on Lafarga.

Lafarga is Princess Emeraude’s knight. He is the army’s captain. He was possessed by Zagato’s magic and became in his side. He did try to rescue the pillar from Zagato only to find out that he will help him through.
Lafarga encountered Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu and tried to dispose them. He touched Hikaru’s sword, and it burned him until Hikaru took the sword away. He then remembered his lost memory.
Lafarga helped Caldina, Ascot and some other subjects of Zagato to flee his palace at the near end… Though it did not actually show it, Caldina said it. This made Caldina like him a bit.
On the second series Caldina had something going on with Lafarga*^-^*.

Innova is a very loyal subject of Zagato. He asked Zagato to give him a human form and Zagato granted his wish. He afterwards bid Zagato to bring him to his original form. He said that he would be more powerful, thus he can defeat the knights.
