The Power of Friendship!

If there is one ingredient
in which adds, warmth and love to our lives,
it is friendship.

If there is one relationship
to help us through all the others, it is friendship.

Friends surround us with the beauty of their caring.
With friends we can share what we see,
what we feel, and what we love.

Friends help us with our problems because they listen.
And as they listen we begin to hear
the language for our own hearts.

With friends we can walk along
the remembered paths of our lives
and completely share our experiences.

With friends we can work the soil
of forgotten dreams that needed to be tended
and nurtured once again.

We can always return to a friend
like going back to a special place
and find the same warm feeling
unchanged by time or distance.

Life gives us friends so we can share the precious times
and memorable moments of being
children, teenagers, adults, parents, and grandparents.

Life gives us friends so we can share
the growing up and growing down and growing old.

With friends we have a place to go
to be accepted and understood.

Together we can laugh.
Together we can cry.

Our thoughts are heard, our feelings are held
in the heart of a friend.

With friends our lives are made more full,
more rich, more open beautiful, and blessed.

A friend is someone who knows the song of your soul
& sings it back to you when you've forgotten the words.

My Little 'Puter Prayer

Every night I lie in bed,
This little prayer goes through my head,
May God bless my mom and dad
and bless my children, too...
And God, there's just one more thing,
I wish that You would do,
If you don't mind me asking...
Would You bless my 'puter too?

Now I know, that it's not normal,
to bless a small machine,
but listen just a second
and I'll try to explain...

You see, this little metal box,
Holds more than odds and ends.
Inside those small components,
Rest a Hundred loving friends.

Some, its true, I've never seen
And most I've never met,
We've never even shaken hands or,
Truly hugged, and yet...

I know for sure they love me,
By the kindness that they give
And this little scrap of metal
Is how I get to where they live.

By faith is how I know them,
Much the same as I know You...
By sharing my life it brings them close,
So if its ok with You...
Please take an extra minute,
from your duties up above...
To bless this little hunk of steel
That's filled with so much LOVE.

May God Bless all my many 'puter friends.

A ball
is a circle, No
beginning, no end.
It keeps us together, Like
our Circle of Friends.
But the treasure inside for you to see
is the treasure of friendship
You've granted to me.
Today I pass the
friendship ball
to   you.

My Friend...

You have given me courage,
That was not there...
You have given laughter,
That I can share...
You have given me feelings,
That are deep and true...
For that my friend
I will always love you...

A friend is someone who sees through your act
and still enjoys the show.

You are my Friend,
My Companion,
Through good times and bad.
My friend,
My buddy,
Through happy and sad,
Beside me you stand,
Beside me you walk,
You're there to listen,
You're there to talk,
With happiness,
With smiles,
With pain and tears,
I know you'll be there, throughout the years!

My Friend
by Betty Jo Mings

I love you for being a true friend to me;
For all of my faults that you choose not to see.
I'm grateful I have you to lend me a hand,
When I feel bogged down, and can't meet time's demand.
But mostly I love you for just being there
To talk to, to listen, to show that you care.
I'll always be thankful that God chose to send
His Angel to bless me -- 'tis you, my dear Friend.

Buddah Baby's Homey Home

This is my cool cyber-girl, Deb. She lives in Michigan (Brr-ja-moe-kers!). We live 9 hours apart, but I can always count on her wit and wisdom. She's a Hoot!
That's Indigo, and Fancy Pants there with her.

To deep for tears
This gnawing pain
Too far away
It's time of gain.
If I could fly away
I would
Not caring if I really should.

Please tell me Lord
it's not in vain,
Please give me hope
to ease this pain...

And lift me high
on eagles wings.
Until each throbbing muscle sings
A song of joy
that turns each pain
Into a precious treasure gained.
