The Whisper in the Wind
by Elizabeth Quinn

There is a peaceful calm
sometimes right in the middle of a storm
The depth of quiet to soothe the soul
.. I know I am going home ..
The whisper in the wind
says it so ..

And all this time ..
I find he had been carrying me
This, a lesson to learn.
Why had I not seen it before?
I am almost there,
I cannot be far now,
I have been carried in his arms ...
Surely then I was asleep
I did not know this .. see this ..
He is carrying me ..
to save my strength ..
to gain strength ..
I had not lost any truly at all.
The whisper in the wind told me so ..
