Terracottas? Bronze? Inks? Oils? Frescos? In her glaring oils of light where dominate reds and ochers, the sun and blood sing Spain. With her dark, fawn and blue inks, she gives up to the temptation already announced in her oils: the one of the no representational. With the sculpture here it is free in short to express the movement, to occupy without constraint the space. And when under her impulse, the earth meets fire, it is either a spur of shapes smooth originals granular, flat brilliant, dark more lucid, all in nuances. |
