We’re going to the beach!!

Yes, that’s right, the Ansteads are going to the beach!! One of the most popular suggestions for reunion locations from the younger Ansteads, and those with young children, has been the beach, and this year, your wish is coming true!

Roy & Mary Alice have graciously volunteered to host the 43rd Annual Anstead Family Reunion the weekend of June 21,1997 in the area of their summer home near Bethany Beach, Delaware. This is bound to be one of the GREATEST reunions ever!

For those of you not familiar with the Delaware beaches, they are very popular with both families and single adults. Available activities range from the water (swimming, boating, windsurfing, jet-ski, water parks and slides) to the land (beaches, bicycling, outlet shopping, miniature golf like you have never seen before, go-carts, and boardwalks). There’s excitement to be found throughout the day, and the nightlife heats up after the sun has gone down. And if food is your interest, try the local blue crabs, Thrasher’s french fries (don’t you dare add ketchup!), fresh corn-on-the-cob, Candy Kitchen salt-water taffy, and caramel corn.
