Apr. 20 - Sun enters Taurus ~ On the heels of the Mars (Rx) opposition to Saturn, from Scorpio to Taurus, our Solar Guide reminds us to "hurry slowly." Add Venus opposite Pluto, and Moon in Cancer, and we are being challenged and confronted every step of the way, to know where we stand, and what we stand for. Stay grounded, put one foot in front of the other, and pause to smell the flowers inbetween. As you count your blessings in the moment, Father Time will pause with you. If you forget to pause, breathe and listen, Time spins away from you and suddenly it is gone.

In the wake of yesterday's tragedy in Colorado, may we all take a moment to pause in silence, and send loving, supportive thoughts toward the families so devastated by this bizarre act of violence. If there can ever be any kind of purpose served by this insanity, may it be that we can learn, albeit too late for so many, to be kind to those unlike ourselves, to forgive ourselves and others, and to embrace PEACE, both at home and worldwide!

Apr. 21 - Dreamtime communications bring illumination and understanding, maybe even remembering a forgotten phone number. Cancer Moon holds us in her arms, asking that we give ourselves a bit of quiet time to feel, to mourn or simply to rest. Good day for puttering, mending, planting; insights will come of their own accord.

Apr. 22 - First Quarter Moon in Leo gives Earth Day a boost of energy, and we all come out of our shells a bit more. Creativity and imagination will leap forth. Be careful of extra gusto, however, as overreach can cause missteps. Listen to that little voice in your ear BEFORE you step on the banana peel.

Apr. 23 - As the Sun moves into opposition to Mars, showdowns are likely. Many loose ends come together, but tempers may flare. This is not the time for Russian Roulette; the gun could have invisible bullets! Energy rides high today, inspirations spark enthusiasm and future plans are being made, but don't push your luck. Cash-in your chips while you still have some, and wait for the next wave.

Apr. 24 - The garden is calling, and planting is in the air. Overexposure is possible though, or being "blinded by the light." This could mean anything from the sun's glare on your windshield to being sucked in by a gorgeous hunk of a con artist. Watch where you are going, and who you are going with. Parties and celebrations will fill the weekend to help relieve the mounting pressures, but Virgo Moon cautions discrimination and temperance (not necessarily abstinance, but moderation).

Apr. 25 - The mood is likely to be slow, especially if you overdid it yesterday. Insights come to the surface, and promises are made. Great time to create new affirmations or start a new regime for the next 4-6 weeks.

Apr. 26 - Treat yourself; take the day off. Treat someone you love; surprise them with something fun like concert tickets, a walk in the woods, or even flashing them in the hallway. Radical ideas become feasible, and bizarre invitation arrives. Give serious thought to breathing, and how you can create more "space" for your own pleasures in your life!

Apr. 27 - You may have to do some catch-up from yesterday's break, but a little cooperation will go a long way, and the drudge turns into a social event. Libra Moon had this one up her sleeve, so whistle while you work. Let go of the worry, and satisfaction is promised by day's end.

Apr. 28 - Phones and calendar pages are busy all day trying to fit it all in. Idealism runs high, and the mood lifts. Sweet-talking, high-stepping and smooth sailing are in the air.

Apr. 29 - As the Full Moon approaches, Lady Scorpio summons a gathering. Listen for the call. Consolidate, conserve and focus to make the best use of this concentrated energy. Inattention can waste much; staying sharp is a must.

Apr. 30 - Full MOON in Scorpio raises the stakes of the game; the risks are greater as we move farther into the Unknown Future. Use your wits and your wit, HUMOR is the Elixir of Life. Allow inspiration to come to you, and don't be afraid to share it!

A note to our brothers and sisters south of the equator: as you enter the season of Samhain, your balance point to ours helps us all to integrate the losses and sorrow of the world's current strife. Today is the day to send forth intentions of peace, healing and love.

May 2 - Sagittarian Moon keeps the fires burning, and celebrations continue. Insights are good, love flows and realizations run deep. Danger of excesses runs throughout the weekend, but let the wind carry you home. If tension builds, play the fool; laughter will keep the atmosphere light.

May 3 - You feel inspired, playful, energized; the pace is fast. Write, dance, sing; express your heartfelt emotions. Laugh until you cry, and cry until you laugh. Good news arrives, and ideas abound. Let it all hang out!

May 4 - Over-celebrating may catch up with you, or you are playing "catch-up" with your work. Capricorn Moon brings confrontations and deadlines, leading to resolutions and completion. Mars at 29° Virgo advises us to tie-up loose ends, phone home, service the car and finish the filing, ~ and watch our step.

May 5 - Last-minute arrangements fall into place, and everything works, just in time. Social engagements, meetings, gatherings and all forms of communicating and connecting are favored. Trust that you will arrive "on time," regardless of what "time" it is! Impatience is a pot-hole in the road. Good food, a friendly touch and a warm environment soothe exhausted adrenals and fried nerve endings.

May 6 - Blizzards and fog banks bring traffic to a halt, as Neptune hovers motionless overhead, and our signals get crossed. Use great caution with speed and vehicles, or hasty words, or thoughtless actions. Tending to business and being methodical will help keep you grounded.

May 7 - Aquarian Moon and Uranus squaring the Sun promise surprises. Knee-jerk reactions can topple the house of cards. Watch which way the wind blows or the crow flies. Bridges may be out, roads slippery or phone lines down, but rescue is certain. The party is on, and the weekend begins.

May 8 - A day of many switchbacks, twists & turns and detours. Stay flexible and open-minded. Early frustrations or spats will resolve themselves if you give them a chance. With Venus entering Cancer and Mercury into Taurus, the energies will mellow as the evening unfolds. Remember to pick-up Mom's flowers!

May 10 - Stick to the basics. New storms may blow in, so don't be lulled into complacency. Keep your intuition awake, read all the signs and take one step at a time. Energy can be renewed by pacing yourself.

May 11 - A fuzzy morning can lead to miscommunication; don't be too sure of yourself, - and where are your keys? Check dinner reservations, or plan a delay. The UNinvited guest may be the one with the best story, or the most to offer.

May 12 - Aries Moon burns off the residue, or yesterday's fog, and you pour on the steam again. An early start leads to an early finish, with free time to play. Invite a new friend, go somewhere different and enjoy yourself. Memories are made of this!

May 13 - Energy is high, but don't you be ("high"). Road blocks, random drug tests, speed traps and bosses arriving early are all potential hazards today. If you have anything to hide, you had better hope it is well hidden, because now is when the "cat comes out of the bag." An early night or a hot-tub will be welcome.

May 14 - Taurus Moon keeps it simple, and gets the job done. Efficiency will save you time, much appreciated if you are overtired, and afford you a peaceful Friday. Traffic snarls may slow you down, but hum a tune or listen to music. Turn lemons into lemonade.

May 15 - NEW MOON in Taurus brings Goddess blessings! Plant those seeds, believe in yourself, and take that FIRST step forward. Affirm your existence with an action that symbolizes your intention, be "at One" with it, and invest your passion into your deepest core desires for your own highest good.
      Afternoon Gemini Moon lightens the atmosphere and welcomes romance, art or the movies.

May 16 - A day of many activities, lively discussions and busy communication lines. Choose the restaurant for the chef, not the decor. A turn-around of plans may yield some fascinating information or entertainment. Family squabbles can be settled, and new ideas are in the wind.
