Dew Drops
The dew drops
gather
On a sleeping child's
face
Her complete innocence,
Beauty
She sleeps on
peacefully
While blanketed with the soft
rain
Giggle
a giggle escapes her
mouth
a smile crosses
it
She runs up behind
me
and throws round me her
arms
the love we
Share
Knows no
end
Her
Her eyes a dark
brown
I get lost in their
beauty
Her hair to match her
eyes
Her lips so
soft
No bed can bring such
peace
Laughter
A child's sweet
Laughter
Music to my
ears
Eyeing an
insect
So dark so curious so
innocent
So amazed am
I
That such a
child
could be my
child
Grasshopper
The grasshopper leaps
from
A green blade of
grass
He flys through the
air
So graceful no
cares
His life is his
freedom
His freedom is his
life
Fish
The fish swim
through
Their clear clean
home
Massaging their rainbow
skin
Their mouths
open
Their mouths
close
ending the
life
Of a tiny
insect
On they
swim
Cautious, careful,
aware
Wind
now I am
alone
on comes the
wind
blows past with
determination
always traveling
forward
so strong, yet so
playful
it brushes my
hair
it massages my
face
it whispers in my
ear
it moves past
me
and continues on it's
way
now i am
alone
