I wanted to give honor to my Grandfather during this Samhain remembering time. He was very special to me when I was little. He died when I was about 12 years old but I still remember a lot of things and the feeling that I had being with him. He was a kind and generous man. He had fought in World War II as a paratrooper. He used to tell me stories all the time about his life. He was a good father and grandfather who was loved by many. I remember that the funeral procession was so long because so many were touched by his life. He was given a military funeral and I can still remember the gun salute. He was someone who definitely touched my soul and I will never forget who he was. I wish him peace on his spiritual journey. May the Goddess always watch over him.
