Article VIII : Resignation.

1. In the event a Chaplain resigns or is otherwise unable to fulfill
   his duties to his Chapel, the Realm's Duke shall appoint a new Chaplain.
   
2. In the event a Duke resigns or is otherwise unable to fulfill his
   duties to his Realm, a new Duke shall be appointed by the Pendragon and
   other Dukes, using whatever criteria they see fit.
   
   1. A person who has served as Duke, but has resigned or been
      removed from office, is called a Marquis.
      
3. In the event the Pendragon resigns or is other wise unable to
   fulfill his duties, a new Pendragon is elected, according to Article VII
   (Election of the Pendragon).
