It's Mardi Gras time, and of course the Real Worlders are a part of it.
Author Anne Rice invites them to her house one night, and informs them that they will be riding on her float in the Orpheus Parade. Everyone is excited, except David (What a surprise.) When the night of the parade comes, David decides to stay at home and watch with a few of his friends.
He misses a lot of fun, seeing how crazy everyone on the float gets, especially Danny. Danny gets so drunk that he goes around kissing everyone on the float.
But the fun doesn't stop there. After the parade, he and some of his friends party back at the mansion. One of his friends, Forrest, pulls Danny into the confessional and...use your imagination. Danny instantly regrets this, but he tells Paul anyway. Paul is forgiving, and Mardi Gras is over, so Danny can sleep easy.
