I remember... it was such a lovely, starry night. A great celebration was being held in my honor... for me, Princess Serenity. Excitement filled the air... everyone was so happy. I had always been fond of watching the night sky and so I stepped out into the balcony. And then I saw him... Prince Endymion of the Earth. Earth people were forbidden to step on the palace grounds and yet there he stood, observing me.
He approached me... and my heart beat wildy. He told me that the Earth had been taken over by evil forces, and that a great invasion force was coming to take over the Moon Kingdom, led by the sorceress Beryl and the evil Queen Metallia. But before he could say any more, the palace guards saw him and he left quickly.
I went back inside the palace to rejoin the festivities. I felt my hand being taken by a masked stranger in a black tuxedo. He asked me to dance, and I consented. We became the center of attention the moment we stepped into the center of the ballroom... I looked at his face, his eyes... and I knew right then that it was my prince... And we danced, and nothing else seemed to matter...
Suddenly the alarm sounded. The invaders had come. Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus rushed outside and attacked with all their power. But everything was in vain. All the Sailor Soldiers perished.
Beryl wanted Endymion for herself. I was her hated rival. She cast a spell that caused a windstorm to take Endymion away. I couldn't allow her to take him away from me. I leapt forward and got caught in the same windstorm. I stretched out my arms, as did Endymion, and as we reached for each other, the last thing I remember was a flash of bright light, and then perfect darkness....
Luna told me that my mother, Queen Serenity, had witnessed my death and the destruction of the whole kingdom with horror. Against the advice of Luna and Artemis, she pulled out the Holy Silver Crystal and put it on the Moon Wand. With all her strength, she used the Holy Silver Crystal and shouted "Moon Healing, Escalation!", and the invading hordes were destroyed. Then she sent the Holy Silver Crystal to Earth...along with the spirits of the princess, the Sailor Soldiers, and everyone else. Luna and Artemis were put into cold sleep and sent also. Only the body of my mother remained in the Moon Kingdom, where she finally rested in peace...
