First Lady Jane Pierce, was the wife of President Franklin Pierce. She was a refined, religious, well-educated and truly excellent First Lady. She is dressed in a lovely black floor-length dress with a satin slip underneath, and wearing white calf-length underwear. There are very nice hand-sewn beads at the neckline of the dress. A see-through wrap covers her shoulders. Her face, head, and shoes are hand-painted. This awesome doll is a collector Kimport doll that was made in the 1950's. She stands 9-1/4 inches tall and comes with her own doll stand.
