GEORGIA STATE HOG RALLY
Man, was it hot! No love bugs, but the heat was definitely was on. Some of the members were able to roll
into Jekyll Island on Thursday and got started early with the festivities. The celebration spilled over into
the next two days and, deSpite the heat everyone seemed to have a really good time. The low country
boil on Saturday night was even better this year and no-one walked (or wallowed) away hungry. Thank
you to all of our Atlanta Chapter Members for helping us win the Chapter Challenge again this year. We
are on a roll, folks! The location and time for next year's Ga. State HOG Rally will be announced in the
next Hogwash.
ANNIVERSARY PARTY
Despite the dark skies and threats of rain, we had a mob of members and guests at the party a few
weekends ago at the shop. This was the first year to have it there and it came off pretty smoothly. Thank
you to everyone who pitched in with your covered dishes. Thank you, Kris (Jimi Stephens better half) for
the mouth watering Brunswick stew. If you weren't in the first fine of people, you missed out. The field
events were held in the dealership's lot next door and it was just the right size. We had the weenie-bite,
the men's & ladie's slow race, balls & cones, the bike balloon toss (a.k.a. the bike wash) and the
children's balloon toss. We had good food, good fun and groovy rock 'n' roll.
