6 medium potatoes, diced
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
salt (to taste)
white pepper (to taste)
1 3/4 cups cream or milk
chopped parsley (to taste)

Melt butter or margarine in a frying pan, add potatoes and onion; cook over medium heat 10 minutes or until browned. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Gradually add milk or cream and simmer for ten minutes.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
