4 small pieces (1x3 inches, 1x2 inches) and 2 pieces (1x3 inches) for the chimney the bottom edges should be cut at an angle to fit slant of the roof.
Bake at 375 degrees until edges are slightly brown about five minutes or so.
Remove and cool on wire racks.
With frosting, decorate pieces to outline windows, doors, roof tiles; let dry. Spread stiff frosting on edges of sides, roof pieces and chimney. Assemble house and let stand until firm.
Other decorations such as layered Necco Wafers, M&M's, etc. may be added using frosting as the adhesive.
Frosting:
2 cups confectioners sugar, sifted
1 egg white
1 teaspoon lemon juice
