The restaurant was pretty much empty when Adonica and Lila walked in. Of course, it was two o'clock in the morning. They placed their orders, then sat down at a table to wait for their food. They were about to eat when a group of guys walked in.

"Don't look now, but five guys just walked in," said Lila.

"I don't care. I'm starving. The concert took a lot of energy out of me," Adonica said.

So, they went on to eat and talk. They had the usual conversation, but it always came back to the concert. Then Adonica felt a pair of eyes on her. She looked over to the side a little and saw one of the guys looking at her. They made eye contact for about four seconds, then Adonica looked away, but not before she noticed one of the other guys staring at Lila. She was totally oblivious to it.

"Hey, Lila," Adonica whispered. "One of the guys at the other table is looking at you."

"Yeah, right," Lila whispered back.

"No, really. Take a little peek to the side."

Lila did what she was told and looked. She had surprised look on her face.

"Did you recognize who they are?" Lila looked starstruck.

"No, why?" Adonica asked.

"Okay, Adonica. Look at them again. Take a good look, then tell me if you recognize them."

Adonica looked over at the other table carefully. None of the guys were looking, so she stared freely. Then she gasped quietly.

"Oh, my gosh, Lila," Adonica said. "We just saw those guys in concert."

"No kidding. And, Adonica, I think it's Brian Littrell gluing his baby blues on you."

"Not only that, but AJ McLean is focusing his beautiful brown eyes on you."

"It's dare time," said Lila, with a look of mischief in her eyes.

"Sure. Whatever you want me to do," Adonica said. She almost never turned down a dare.

"I dare you to make eye contact with Brian and give him that mysterious smile you're so famous for."

"All right, Lila. Just tell me when he's looking and I will. But you have to do the same thing with AJ."

"At the same time?" she asked, surprised.

"No," Adonica laughed. "I'll do it first, then you do it. Don't worry, Lila, I'll tell you when."

"Adonica, he's looking," said Lila.

Adonica looked over at Brian, who was definitely looking at her. They made eye contact again and Adonica smiled. Brian smiled back.

"There are some major sparks between you two," Lila said.

"I guess," Adonica said. "Oh, Lila, it's your turn."

Lila was more subtle. She acted like she was looking around, then she looked over at AJ, who was watching her, and smiled. AJ smiled back.

"He smiled back! I can't believe he smiled back!" she said, excitedly.

"Um, Lila," Adonica said. "They're coming over."

"Oh, my gosh. Okay, okay. Calm down, calm down."

We watched as Brian and AJ walked over.
