"I'm sorry," said AJ, holding up his hands whiling backing out of the room. "I didn't mean to interrupt." Then he quickly shut the door.

"Oh no. Nick, what are we going to do?" asked Adonica, dispairingly. "Do you think he'll tell?"

"I don't think so. At least, I hope so."

"What do you mean you 'hope so'?"

"AJ's not exactly the best at keeping secrets."

"Great." Adonica put her head into her hands.

Nick and Adonica looked at each other and slid to opposite sides of the couch. They were both quiet, thinking about what they had done. The door opened a little while later and Brian walked in.

"Hey, there you are," Brian said to Adonica. "I've been looking for you. AJ said you were in here, talking to Nick."

I hope AJ didn't tell him, Adonica thought.

"I was wondering if you wanted to get something to eat with me?" Brian went on.

"Yeah, sure. I'm starving," Adonica said, relieved Brian didn't know.

"How about you, Nick. Wanna come with us?" Brian asked.

"No, I already ate," Nick said, looking at Adonica.

She blushed, but Brian didn't seem to noticed.

"Alright, we'll see you later." Brian grabbed Adonica's hand and lead her towards the door. She looked back at Nick, but he was just sitting there, playing his video games again.
