Some information on Celine Herself.

Celine Dion comes from a very large family. She has 13 brothers and sisters.

She comes form the Canadian province of Quebec.

Celine didn't speak any english till she took a crash course in it at 18.

She was born on March 30th 1968 at 12:30 a.m.

She started singing at the age of 8 in her parents night club.

Celine didn't finish school. She decided to drop out at the age of 14. School took a back seat to her music.

At the age of 12 she met the man who would launch her career by mortgaging his house so Celine could record her first album.

She married this man, Rene Angelil, in 1994. The wedding cost a reported $500,000.00, with about 500 attending.

Celine was only 13, when she had her first number one hit song in Canada.

Her niece Karine, Died in her arms of Cystic Fibrosis at the age of 16. The song FLY, on the FALLING INTO YOU album is for her.

On Celines 30th Birthday, all Canadian radio stations played nothing but her songs for the whole day.

Last Christmas Cline gave each of her siblings a gift of $100,000.00.

Celine hates mornings, and never talks on days she doesn't perform to preserve her voice.

Her big fetish is shoes....she has over 1.000 pairs of shoes.

Here is a Cd I just found today in the record store, it is called "The Reason". It is a CD single that includes 4 songs. They are: THE REASON, BE THE MAN, MAKE YOU HAPPY, WITH THIS TEAR. I also found that they carried alot of her import releases, If I only had more money???

If you are a Celine Dion collector, You might want to get with an AVON representative. On the cover of their campaign 22 booklet is a full page picture of Celine Dion. In the booklet you can order a special CD called CELINE ON TOUR. You can only get this one through AVON.

On November the 7th at 6:30 PM, Celine can be seen on the rebroadcast of the Bee Gees Concert on HBO.

On November the 8th if you are in Canada or have a C-band satellite system you can catch Celine on the CBC in a special about the recording of the Beatles Tribute album.

On November the 9th, (Though not confirmed) on the CBC, you can catch Celine in concert. This will be the same live show that will be on sale December the first.

On November the 15th, you can catch Celine in the 100th episode of Touch By An Angle on CBS.

On Wednesday, November the 18th on the Today Show NBC, Celine made the dreaded announcement that on New Years Eve, 1999/2000 she will be giving her big bash end of world tour concert in her home country of Canada. This will be her final concert as she is then going to be taking time off to start a family and get to know her husband, and be a wife. She wouldn't give any clues as to how long she will be gone.

On November 25, tune in to The Rosie O'Donnell show to see Celine perform "Lets Talk About Love" and again during the week of December 7, when she will perform "Another Year Has Gone By".

The week of December 21, Celine will be on The Today Show for an interview with Kaite Couric and to perform "Blue Christmas".

On December the 1st, You can buy the Celine Live in Memphis Video.

Celine's Memphiis Video has been delayed, No details as to why.

Celine Dion has been picked as VH-1's singer of the year!!!!!!

Celine won a Peoples Choice Award as Female Singer of the Year

She also won 2 American Music Awards. Adult Contemporary and Pop singer of the year.
