Now we know that we get day and night because of the constant rotation of Earth around the sun in an elliptical Orbit with the sun is placed at one of its focui .while the Earth actually revolves round itself. And the moon takes approximately "30"days to rotate round the Earth.The Holly Quran states and hints to some of these factsfor over 1400 years ago:

In the name of Allah most gracious most merciful:

and the sun runeth on unto a permanent place for it

In the name of Allah most gracious most merciful:

And He it is who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit.

Allah indeed speaks the truth
