For those of you that don't know me, let me introduce myself. My name is
PTO has stayed busy through the summer, we sold over $1800.00
So, as you can see, we need lots of volunteers! Whether you have just an
by for a visit. It's hard to believe that it is back to school time already.
Michelle Storts and I'm starting my fourth year as President of our PTO. I
served one year as Vice President before becoming President. My husband and I
have two students at Berne Union, a daughter in 5th grade and a son in first grade.
I'm grateful for my involvement with PTO as I'm able to contribute to all the
students at Berne Union by helping PTO provide experiences to enrich their education.
PTO is truly a family commitment for us, as my kids and husband are often in tow
to help out with one thing or another. Well, enough about me! I've got more to share!
in tickets for our Basket Auction! Thank you to all of you that participated,
this was such a successful event. In the months that followed, we were
involved with the Kindergarten Orientation, the Teacher Appreciation luncheon,
and on Sept.13th, we will be hosting an Ice Cream Social during the Open House.
hour, or more, to spare, we have a spot for you to fill. Our Parent Volunteer
Program is easy to sign up for, and that way you will only be called when you
are needed to help. And for those of you that might be interested in getting
involved even more, we have several exciting positions that need to be
filled. If you can't make it to a meeting to sign up, just call me
at 746-9262.
