Tourist Visa
Entry : A visa is necessary to enter Nepal and can be obtained
for the following duration from any Royal Nepalese Embassy or consulate
or at the entry points of Nepal.

IMPORTANT : Re-entry facilities should be used within
the validity of visa period. It isn't accepted as a visa extension
.
How to extend your visa ?
-
Your visa can be extended at the department of the immigration office,
for a total 120 days. If you require a visa extension for more than 120
days, the department, by the approval of Home Ministry, issues an additional
30 days visa on reasonable grounds. In one visa year (January to December)
you may not stay in Nepal longer than 150 days.

Fees for extending your visa, Per day - US$ 1.00 ( one ) in Nepalese currency
: You should also attach a copy of photograph for the extension of your
visa.

Fees for the over stay period in tourist visa : 100% together with regular
visa extension fee.
IMPORTANT : Visa ( only for 7 days at over stay period
) can be regularized from the immigration department at the exit point
within the period of 120 days in the visa year.
TRANSIT VISA
a) you may obtain transit visa from the Airport
immigration officer for 48 hours on the presentation o air ticket.
b) Transit visa fee : US$ 5.00
