ADMISSION NOTICE
Applications in prescribed forms are invited for the following courses
being conducted by BIT, Mesra (Ranchi) through its Extension Centre at
27, Malviya Industrial Area, Jaipur - 302017 for spring semester commencing
from 8th January, 1998.
1. Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Six semesters
(Three Years) programme.
Eligibility - Graduates (10 + 2 + 3 system) having minimum 50% marks
in aggregate with Mathematics / Statistica as one of the subjects at graduate
level.
2. M.Tech (Computer Science) - Two and half year (part
time) programme.
Eligibility : B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch. or post graduate degree holders
with Physics and Mathematics at graduate or P.G. level. Preference would
be given to the applicants employed in computer field.
Applicants whose results are likely to be declared by 14.12.97 can
also apply. As per norms 10% seats are reserved for sons & daughters
of NRI, details are given in the prospectus.
Application forms with prospectus can be obtained from 6.10.97 onwards
by writing to the Coordinator, BIT Estensino Centre, 27 Malviya Industrial
Area, Jaipur - 302017 by remitting Rs. 450/- through crossed DD / IPO in
favour or "Birla Institute of Technology" payable at Jaipur.
The last date for submitting the filled in applications, completed in all
respects, is 17.11.97 (5 p.m.). Applications with additional late fees
of Rs. 100/- shall also be accepted upto 1.12.97. The entrance examination
will be held on 14.12.97 at Jaipur.
NRI candidates must submit their applications with $50 onwards processing
fees latest by 17.11.97.
