John Wesley Vinson - He was born 27 Mar 1847 in Iuka, Tishomingo Co., Mississippi. He married Caroline (Linnie) R. Olive on 18 Oct 1878. He was shot at the battle of Shiloh and the bullet pulled a handkerchief into the wound and through his body. He died 25 Dec 1921 in Weakley Co., Tennessee.
