THE BLOODY BUCKET

JAMES DE LA CROIX:
Summary:
James, or Big Jim, as many call him, is an interesting figure in the town of Lewisburg in 2003. No one is quite sure about much of his past, but most who know him either fear him or respect him. Jim is a large man, well-muscled, 5'11" and 300#. Apparently he had worked as a custodian, a construction worker, or a truck driver, depending on who you would ask. His head is clean shaven, and he wears a long Fu Manchu moustache. He typically wears clothing that is black in color. He is an expert in several forms of martial arts, and has trained some of the garrison in the basics of hand-to-hand combat. He has a favorite hat that could best be described as a black felt fedora.

Jim had a knack for surviving, and somehow he managed to protect himself, his woman, and son thru the turmoil of the last few years. Jim picked up bits and pieces of equipment and weapons that he found, and soon had a lucrative post-WWIII business, that of the town merchant in Lewisburg. He accepts the credit that the 3/103 people are paid, as well as US currency, and is supposed to be able to secure small loans for people.

After a few complaints about unfair business practices, Colonel Stryfe kept very close tabs on Big Jim, both from the business end of things, as well as in the social-political arena. James was never found guilty of any of the charges. James has entered into the race for Mayor of Lewisburg, and the Special Elections will be held May 15. James is not a serviceman, so he is free to run for office. And so far the election has been run legally, entirely by the books. James is running unopposed at the moment, but like many things in 2003, that can rapidly change.

James is no coward, however. He has helped the Garrison defend the camp, and has accompanied scrounger patrols on numerous occasions. He's good in a firefight, having gained some Merc experience south of the border before things heated up into a full-scale war. It was there he acquired his two favorite weapons, a Ruger .44 Mag, and an MP-5K.

STARTING EQUIPMENT:
Ruger .44 Magnum, good katana, MP-5K, Marlin .300 magnum rifle with scope, double barreled 12 gauge, numerous knives. Plus various trade goods useful in PA circa 2003...
