THE BLOODY BUCKET

Stan Irvine

STANLEY IRVINE:
CPL Irvine was known as "Iggy", but there are very few people alive who remember him being called that regularly. Berger is one of them.

Physical Description:
He is in his mid 20s, with short hair, already thinning. His uniform is well-worn, as is most of his equipment. He has an uneasy smile, and wears wire-rimmed glasses. The war has not treated him well, with his receding hairline, lines in his forehead, and crowsfeet at his eyes. He could easily pass for 35 or 40 years old.

History:
CPL Irvine joined the DIV as a National Guardsman in 1999, deployed to the Gulf, and returned to PA to serve in local security and relief operations. He was an M113 gunner and commander, and is qualified on numerous weapons systems. He fought against the mutineers during DEC 2002. He spends alot of time alone. Berger is one of the few people around who can get more than passing conversation out of the man. His uneasy smile betrays the inner turmoil which would eat any man alive from the inside out. Lavishes attention on the M113, the sole claim to the 3/103rd being an Armored unit. Knows his way around a .50 Browning HMG more than anyone in camp...

EQUIPMENT:
M92, Marlin 30-30, AKM from The Gulf, (low on ammo), home made crossbow. He wears an old red set of football shoulderpads when in the M113, to cut down on the bumps and dings his body takes when maneuvering.

He inherited some clothing, including fatigues and a jeep cap, from his grampa, who was a Korean War vet. Luckily they fit better than anything the Army issued him.

Yeah I feel silly wearing these. But it's better than getting bruised up from your crap-assed driving.
