MIRIAM "MIM" STOLTZFUS:
Mrs. Stoltzfus is one of the many Amish people from the area of Lewisburg - Mifflinburg that are assisting
the 3/103. As the Matriarch of the family, and the eldest among the group at age 68, she has considerable
influence among the Amish, despite her being a woman.
Her husband also assisted the 3/103, helping with farming, caring for horses, fixing simple machines, and building. Unfortunately, he was killed when the Lewisburg Camp was overrun.
Mim, or "Mama Mim" as many call her, is a veritable storehouse of information and energy. She makes soap, candles, and other household items. She organized the food gathering and storage, and sees to it that nearly 150 people have hot food three times each and every day. She also has knowledge of various folk remedies, using common household items, plant materials, and herbs for medicinal purposes.
