RYAN "SHADOW"TYLER: Ryan Tyler stands 6' tall and weighs in at 180 lbs. He looks lean but athletic. Brown hair and eyes with a mustache. Average appearance. He wears BDUs and has a .45 in a shoulder holster. He wears the black ranger beret.

Ryan Tyler was born on a farm. Grew up riding horses and tromping around the countryside. Enlisted in the army, into the 101st airborne and almost immediately went into ranger school. Picked up some experience in South America and got a degree through a combination of correspondance and CLEP testing during his first two tours.

Survived the 2nd Gulf War, and returned home on the Gulf Eagle. (see BACKGROUND page)

Received the silver star for his actions during the fiasco of the drop on the airfield at Grenada. Got married, and lost her two years later when she was killed in a terrorist incident. Immediately tried to get into Delta Force but was denied, and told he'd have a better chance as an officer.

Was a Sergeant First Class when he entered OCS at the start of his third tour. After graduating kept going from one hot spot to another. Flew through the officer ranks making captain in three years. Never made it into Delta Force.
